INDIANAPOLIS (February 8, 2013) — Klipsch, a leading global speaker manufacturer, announces today the company’s further fundraising efforts benefitting the Make-A-Wish Foundation®. As the Indiana Pacers’ official headphone sponsor, Klipsch has used the strategic partnership to raise funds for Indiana’s local Make-A-Wish chapter. Kicking off the 2013 fundraising initiatives at Klipsch, employees have been incentivized to support the foundation by donating dollars for access to tickets to Friday night’s game against the Toronto Raptors, adding a $2,000 contribution to the over-$30,000 raised in the past two years.

During the Indiana Pacers game versus the Toronto Rapports on February 8, Klipsch’s employees and their family members will be present to be recognized for their recent donations to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. To show appreciation for these donations, the Pacers own Roy Hibbert will host a meet and greet with company representatives in attendance following the game, due in part to his personal support of the organization.

“Since our inception in 1946, giving back has remained an important component of our corporate mission,” said Mike Klipsch, president of global operations for Klipsch. “We are extremely thankful for our employees’ generosity, as well as the time and effort the Indiana Pacers and Roy Hibbert will provide to ultimately benefit local children in need and kick off our fundraising initiatives for 2013.”

As a partner of the Pacers, Klipsch is highly present among the team’s players, staff, broadcasters and spectators. Roy has also supplied the Indiana Pacers with its latest headphones for the players to personally experience the brand’s award-winning comfort and high-performance sound signature. Adding to the brand’s visibility, Klipsch speakers and branded signage have been utilized throughout the Pacers locker room. To extend Klipsch's presence inside Bankers Life Fieldhouse, the brand plays a major role in pre-game activities and in-game product giveaways to interact with fans during select home games.

In recent years, all of Klipsch’s fundraising efforts have benefitted the Make-A-Wish Foundation. With approximately $30,000 in donations to date, the company continues to utilize strategic partnerships and initiate employee-driven campaigns to make local children’s dreams a reality.
