I have three other sets of Klipsch Image earphones, which I am very happy with, but I wanted a pair of quality ones to use with my new MP4 player and DABS radio. I searched the market and back I came again to Klipsch. I fell in love with the X10s for their beauty and the positive reviews given. They are so comfortable and lightweight I forget I am wearing them and they bring a new meaning to music. It is similar to listening to a surround sound system, but from a pair of earphones! The only feature that I think could be improved is the lead, which is very thin and I would suggest that future Klipsch earphones should have a covered lead. I love my X10s to bits and they are worth every penny.

The X10s are extremely small and light and sound great with nicely extended bass. To achieve this, the gels must seal properly in the ears, which means you can hear yourself breath. They fit securely and do not fall out, but the wires are quite fine and look fragile - be careful with those chunky zips! I thought long and hard before spending as much on these as I had on the iPod, but now I have them, I am very happy.

What can I say - these are some mighty impressive headphones. The sound quality from these tiny comfortable headphones will amaze - the bass response and range compare to my B&W speakers and that’s saying something when the source is only my phone. I listen to them on the way to work, across noisy London by foot and underground. They fit extremely well, cutting out ambient noise so effectively I can keep the volume pretty low while losing no quality. And for those of you who are conscious of any noise they may emit around others in a crowded place– they don’t, nada, not a peep. Highly recommended.

I have always loved music - all types and as I travel all the time with my career I wanted to use something better than the stock earphones that I got with my iPod. I have on several occasions almost bought the Bose noise canceling headphones as I am a lover of Bose. The only thing that held me back was the size of them. After reading various reviews of the X10 and getting a great deal on them through the What HiFi magazine, I purchased them. WOW......beautiful sound , light, comfortable and you don't need noise canceling as they fit so snugly inside ones ear. Don't hesitate any longer. Just buy them.

I have had the X 10's for a month and they are the best in-ear 'phones i have used. The comfort and and blocking of external sounds are superior to the Shure E2's I have used and I was impressed with them. I listen to a lot of radio ptrogrammes as well as classical through to heavy rock. The X 10's cope with all genres and produce excellent sound. They also reveal the inadequacies of some of the recordings I have.

Pro's - Absolutely great sound. Very small and light. Very comfortable. Con's - Very thin cable - feels like it's going to break. Cable gets very tangled and holds bends & twists.

I have been using them for 7 weeks for about 3 hours a day ~ daily commute on SWTrains plus a little extra. They replaced shure se110 which were never comfortable enough for a 1 hour listen. They mainly partner a Sony NWZ-S639F 16GB and either a Sony Ericsson or a Nokia music phones. I would describe the X10s as detailed, very musical and really comfortable. Their light weight construction means that the plugs tend to stay in place to the point that you dont notice them and the noise isolation is good enough most of the time but not so effective as to get you run over so for me a real result even though I've spent more on them than the player. Concrns: Their construction is so lightweight that I'm a bit nervous about their durability. The lead comes in one piece so if its attached to a proprietory phone lead then combined it becomes a bit of a skipping rope.

Great fit, great sound. Very easy to live with in terms of sound quality and comfort, whether you are excercising or sitting on a plane, where they are quite good at blocking out (not cancelling) the background noise.

Excellent sound quality once the ear plugs have been correctly sorted. Very light weight and a lot better sound quality than my earlier Shure, Sony and Etymotic.

I am still generally new to HiFi, and the Klipsch Image X10's were my first pair of headphones over £100. I use them all the time and after owning them for a couple of months I am still elated with their sound quality. For such light headphones it's hard to believe how much of a sound stage they generate and how deep the bass is. 10/10!

I was given a loan of these amazing devices yesterday. I was actually shocked by the sound quality. Sure they cost a lot but if you value ultra-high-end audio then you need to get your hands on a pair. They are billed as the world's smallest and lightest full-range in-ear headphones.

I'll be honest, I'm no audiophile. Most of the time I listen to crappy MP3s on my phone using the headphones that came with it. I have one half-decent pair of in-ear-canal OEMed Logitechs which cost me €40 on eBay a few years ago. Until yesterday they hadn't been matched but now the scales have fallen from my ears (apologies for the terrible pun).

I tested the Klipsch headphones on both an iPhone and a laptop, playing the opening track from the Kills at 192kbs WMA, 192kbs MP3 and in FLAC format. Wow wow wow, I honestly have never heard quality like this in my forty years on this planet. Every instrument perfectly defined and separated, every detail crisp, no distortion, no criticism. The word that kept going through my head was "clarity". I am so used to dull lifeless audio that this blew me away.

On top of the audio quality, the shape of the plugs is brilliant at supressing external noise. I could hear nothing in a busy loud kitchen throughout the testing. The industrial design also feels fantastic and you know they are worth every penny of the £200 that they cost. I don't have the money to afford these right now but if I had, I'd buy them in an instant.

Disclaimer: They'll soon be available to buy on the new Klipsch UK site which uses LouderVoice as its review engine.
